Downton Abbey Tea Party
In honor of the upcoming film release, Focus Features hosted the Downton Abbey Tea Party at The Grove in Los Angeles in September 2019. Attendees were immersed in the world of the movie through a themed set, including a gorgeous catering tent, vintage seating, games of croquet and quoits, and a string quartet playing 1920s music. Actors in period costumes walked around and interacted with guests, truly transporting them into the time period of the film. Everyone who came to the activation also left with their own set of Downton Abbey playing cards.
